I have had a couple of near miss traffic incidents recently, and I'm thinking my stock horn is not loud enough.
I previously installed a hella dual air horn system in my other car, and it is a little louder than stock.
A friend of mine installed a Shocker S4 from hornblasters.com and swears by it. I went to the auto parts store to look at a $40 air horn system, and the guy there discouraged me from getting it. He said he spent $500 on his horns too (sounds like pricing from hornblasters).
I really want to get a loud train type horn but not willing to spend $500 at this point. Are there any other options? Saw some full kits on
ebay with compressor and all going for around $200. But I'm concerned about the quality, durability and reliability of these
ebay kits...
