Interesting note, here in FL you can tint any window to any darkness, except 2 front windows (drivers door and passenger side front door - max 20%). Windshield is illegal to tint.
Anyways, I tinted my sequoia 5% all around, front doors 10% and windshield 50%. I got ticket 3 years ago (2 days after that tint job) = $74.50 (illegal sun screen in FL)
I drove in my sequoia all the way up to Boston, NYC, and trough out east coast. I've been pulled over for minor things, but never for my tint. I even drove round trip from FL - NY - AK - FL and not even a single leo pulled me over for tint.
