Default Re: Tint....

I have 20% Johnson window film on my tundra. I never had the tint checked with a tint meter to be exact. I do have trouble at night trying to see out of it. I'm thinking about removing the tint on the front window and installing Llumar 35% on the front instead. Had 20% installed on the back sliding rear window over the factory tint. So that % is 10% total. I did the rear because I was tired of the headlight glare and the truck didn't come with an auto dimming rearview mirror. But it makes it difficult to see out of the truck when backing up a night.

I have 35% Llumar all the way around on my 300M. I had it checked with a tint meter and it came back 25% Visible light transmission. But I'm not sure if that tint meter is that accurate. But the car didn't pass WV inspection if I wanted to move there which I have no desire to move there. I have no trouble whatsoever trying to see out of the car day or nights. Not too dark and it looks classy in my opinion. paid $239 lifetime warranty

If my truck didn't have factory tint I would do 20% on the back 3 and 35% on the front 2. Forget the eyebrow tint strip.
