Default Re: Tundra towing question

I have the "Tundra Grade" with 5.7 Double Cab (which is the cheapest of all models, below SR5) but it has the optional "Tow Package", it was a $600 option and mine is rated at over 10,000 lbs ... so it doesnt matter what model you get as long as it has the "Towing Package" ... It included Trans temp guage, trans Cooler, Heavy duty battery, Trailer Wiring outlet's, Tow Hitch, 4.30 Gears versus the 4.10's you get without the Tow Pkg, alot of bang for $600 I thought on a "Tundra Grade" for only $600 ... Also the hitches from the Factory are welded into the frame ends so that might give it a little extra versus a bolt on.

Don't let them bs you into adding a hitch to a non tow pkg truck, because they arent the same, you want to tow make sure you get the "Tow package" and its on the "Window Sticker" from the factory, not some add on they have added.
