I was wondering about the need to replace the timing belt because of age as well. Mine is an 03 that has 26,000 miles but I was wondering if the age of the vehicle would warrant the need to replace it. Based on what I've read from people who have replaced their own timing belts and saying they looked brand new, I am now thinking no.
