Couple questions - Why did you use such a large bit of angle (L)? I measured the seat mounting bracket/leg and it's only about 2" wide. Also, why didn't you just mount the seat frame rail directly to the angle bracket? What's the point of keeping that little piece of the original leg?

Good idea and I think I'll add this to my to-dos. Will probably use a different mount, but you've given me a good idea to start with. Gotta wait until it cools down some tho. Hate working outside on the vehicles when it's 110*.
