This may sound a little anal, but when I used to have a job that required my truck to be parked all day, I'd go out every few hours and check it for bird crap. Back then, I had a truck with a 3-stage pearl paint job. I always kept a little bottle of spray detailer and some soft towels on hand to remove it asap.
