Default Re: Rear Window Dead?

I've done the TSB and removed the spring and various parts and all worked VERY well for while. Recently it stopped working again. Upon removing everything I found the the window was being held up on a decent amount of pressure. After removing the bolts holding the motor assembly to the door, the motor unit would not budge. I found by forcing the gears to "unmesh" I was able to relieve the pressure on the window and all worked well. The window was not even (I had moved only one sides tooth). I moved the gear back so that the window was level and all has been well.

I will probably post this separately, but for this with working windows, when it closes, does it exert enough pressure on the window/door that the entire door "flexes" when it closes tightly? I am thinking that the problem may be (at least on mine) that the window is closing so tightly that the pressure on the gear / regulator is to great for the motor to start things moving. Need to figure out where/how the ECU knows the window is closed.

Thank to the forum this has been much less of a headache as an inconvenience.
