Default Re: Scangauge II Install (so easy a caveman could do it)

hi, mine is mounted on top of the steering column.

the wire is fed through the steering column & down to the obd2 port.
all tucked away.

i used a wire hanger with tape, to feed the wire harness through.

after that ,you need to input your info, such as: 26 gallons tank, V8, 4.7l, etc.
&
there a long code for the X-gauge for use of horse power, as 1 of the gauges.
yes, it is simple to install, but the inputtting of info might give you a headache.

also as per the company, it is best to start out on a full tank of gas.
