Good idea and I think I'll add this to my to-dos. Will probably use a different mount, but you've given me a good idea to start with. Gotta wait until it cools down some tho. Hate working outside on the vehicles when it's 110*.

I used a large piece because that is what I had around, also because I could not get a nice clean plastic cover over it like the stock one has I wanted it to cover the hole in the carpet to have a clean look. (I messed up one of them and made it too dam short to give me a clean look.)
I left the little foot piece on there for added stability and strength. It is welded on to the seat and also did not want to risk messing up the rail. IF you want to drop the seat another 1/4 inch you could take it off no problem! I could have done this cleaner im sure, but after trying to cut further into the little foot that was left, I decided I did not have the right tools and im leaving them.
