Re: Rear Window Dead?
Hi, I have a 2004 Sequoia and my rear window became stuck in the up position only one month after we bought it two years ago. At that time, the dealer that we bought it from was kind enough to repair the motor at their cost (~$450). Now, two years later, the rear power window has again failed! After reviewing the numerous posts on this, I printed out copies of the Toyota Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) related to this issue (Posted by Andy4 on 06-03-2007, 06:00 PM) and then simply removed the spring, spring hook, backing plate and two screws, then tried it and it didn't work - with the hatch up. When I closed the hatch and tried it, it worked like a champ!!! This took me less than 1 hr to do. I'm now back in business, and this saved a hefty mechanic's bill! Thanks everyone for the info and TundraSolutions for this forum!
