I put the cashier's check back in my pocket, told the manager to have a nice day and call me if they wanted to deal. End result was, manager now saw a quick deal, salesman saw quick deal, and I walked out of there with new truck at what I thought was a fair/good price. All parties were happy.

Money talks, if the dealer doesn't see it that way, walk away and find someone who does. This is a business, they aren't enthusiasts, they don't care if they sell a prius, a corolla or the tundra. Find someone who speaks money and deal with them. No sense in wasting your time or theirs.

Don't get me started on the shyster that tried to sell me a Titan......

Dealers could care less how you pay its the same to them cash or finance, they get paid just the same. So good credit scores are as good as cash. Yeah you go in there with crap credit and look to them to finance you your in a less than advantageous position to negotiate.
