Wow I never realized that the new 1.8s were having such issues.

I finally got pissed off at having to wait an hour and a half to get the oil changed in my car at the stealership and went back to doing it myself. Even the 2.4 has 0W-20 on the cap. The stuff feels thinner than cooking oil.
