Default Re: Car Cleaner Wax After Sealant?

Don't believe any of those, 1 year sealant ads. Even the best sealants out there will lose their effectiveness after 4 to 6 months. Using anything other than 100% carnuba will have and adverse affect on the sealant. Best rule of thumb is to apply your sealant, make sure you let it cure the proper amount of time. I believe some say 12 hours others say 24. I usually wait 12 and then hit it with a second coat. After another 12 I use a good quality carnuba wax. For me, I like using Poorboys EX-P and then follow up with some PB Natty Blue. I've been very happy with the outcome on my Spectra Blue Tundra. Good luck and happy detailing.
