501 is the same as 105 except on steroids...sealant down first then top with a nuba of your choice. I won't recommend a specific one because for me personally, i've opted to shell out the bucks and went with the higher end waxes. Currently i've done the 501/105 base and topped it off with SwissVax waxes. I didn't use sealants for the past few months because i'm doing a personal carnuba wax test of all types of nubas out there, but since we are having a hurricane that has touched down on the big island yesterday and moving its way up, i figure beef up the protection.

Anyways, duragloss is a cheap product that performs extremely well for the price. Either that or JumboJet's favorite 1Z line, try Glanz Wax. Depending on who you ask, it's a sealant or a wax. That things smells and looks like acetone and applies in a liquid form but hazes like a wax. I have had good results with that here in tropical climate for about 3 weeks solid.

Just some food for thought! I'll check my notes to see what combos I have used that have showed me great results and will post if you want.
Your using DG505 & 105 & then putting another wax on after 105? What is the point of that? I that 105 was a last step product (sealant).
Will dg652 & 105 (its what I'm currently using on my first run) do the same as 505/105 or is the latter a better combo?
