It is always off and when i hit the button and hold it down the three letters light up. When i hit again and hold it down they go off. Is the new model different? Maybe the yota techs have been reading up on how it can be disabled?
I know on the Avalanche forum I used to be on, once we figured out how to go hi 4 or all lights on, they changed it out on us and had to figure it out again.
Will this shut down the traction control? I know at full throttle at take off, she will power down on tires spinning. This question probably has been asked a hundred times, but I am still working on search procedures.
Great work, and that truck looks great. Now i have to find the black headlight mod. Going to see if i can find it right now.

I don't think big brother is reading the forums and changing the functions on the VSC switches

.
But you are correct the buttons function did change in the model year 08 and 09 for sure not sure how the 10 models work but if you had a 08 or 09 model you could do this mod with 2 of the TR-7 units tied back to back triggering the second one after the first and addign a 1 second or 2 second delay before timer starts, since its button worked with a 3 second hold push and let go for a second and another 3 second hold push.
Now if the 10 model works simarly you can follow my same concept. If anyone truely interested in testing this idea out I can toss a diagram together and quick programming guide to follow to test this idea out for you newer Tundra owners granted their is enough interests.
So test out or read the manual and explain how the VSC button works and we can see were to go next since I don't know anyone with a 08-10 model truck to test this theory with.
