If you're going to run the FIPK set-up, it won't make much difference unless you have the exhaust or headers...and the uni-chip will help a little to remap it. The throttle response is much better. After doing the air box mod on two other of my trucks...I've noticed that it is not even close to the actual FIPK in air flow, throttle response or performance.

If you want the biggest bang for the buck without doing headers and or a supercharger (if you can find one), I would recommend swapping out the gears for some 4:56's to give you some nice low end grunt....and it will help if you decide to throw on some taller tires in the future.
