To each his own ... I looked at the install pics (nice job of taking pics, by the way) of that .. apparatus.. wow ..

The name "Rube Goldberg" comes to mind.

My unqualified opinion is that it is overkill .. to the extreme .. but hey, it's your money..

And if I had spent that much on a trailer hitch, I too would sing it's praises to any and all, every chance I got.

But, best of good luck to you..

And of course I could be completely wrong ...
