The way they designed the bottom of the front end links is perfect. The way they designed the top, they will break...not a matter of it, just a matter of when. It's not the size of the endlink either, it's the rotation of the link in the end of the swaybar, and the resistance provided by the two bushings on either side of the bar.

I'm pretty certain changing to poly only makes it worse. The interface between the top of the bar and the link really needs to be a joint, not a bushing. The Downey part is bigger, but not any more correct than the Toyota part.

Don't kid your self. I am a tech and see alot of swaybar links that have joints on both ends break or they get loose in the socket and you get clunk noises over bumps.
