my understanding is much more HP(lb/ft. torque) at much lower revs than the stock motor alone. I saw stats on the V6 s/c saying the s/c generates as much torque at 1800 rpms as the stock motor does at red line.

Does more torque translate into more speed off the line?(what I am looking for) I would definitely think so. We are seeing estimates of an increase of about 80hp.

I am sure some of the gearheads at TS know all of the advantages of supercharging, particularly the ones who have the s/c on their V6 Tundras today..........
