I'm using a 1.5K ohm resistor for the air temp sensor. A 0-2K ohm linear taper pot for the water temp sensor. There's also a SPDT switch wired after the pot to switch between the pot and a 180 ohm resistor. They're 1/2 watt resistors by the way.

Since you're "piggybacking" the sensors I'd use a higher resistance pot,like 5K ohm. I'm trying to create hotter readings,not cooler.

The box and my multimeter are at work,I'll bring both home tomorrow. I won't be able to get you the actual resistance values vs. temp readings until Monday since I'll be out all weekend.
