Tundra brakes have been a joke since day one ..It was interesting talking to a sale's guy at my toyota dealership today. He asked me how i liked my truck and i informed him the truck is great. but the brakes being a joke and toyota putting in tacoma pads when it came out in 2000. MY problem has been corrected since the tsb performed back in sept 2002 in which the f/e has revisions done to the brakes in which i noted today the sequioa uses the same brake capliers my tundra has on right now. So far it's been a good match with no problems or vibes to report...
The sales department also informed me today that the tundra d/c due out will arrive at my dealership in 3 to 4 weeks and i'll keep you posted when i do the first test drive since they know me pretty well out there...I do know tundra d/c, will have 4 wheel disk brakes. By the pictures i've seen and hopefully we might expect to see a part number we can buy to maybe update our tundras we have now....
