Also, does anyone have any experience with how well this tranny will hold up to the added power of a supercharger?

I have towed abit more than the 5000# limit on my 03 and have had no problems what so ever. The tranny holds up very well and is very strong all through the band.

I have also towed with a 5.3L Chev Trailblazer and the v8 Ford Explorer and I must say the 4runner felt the strongest! I know that the 04's have the added 7000# limit now so I know towing heavier loads should be a null factor.

You can't go wrong with either Tundra of 4runner btw

And for the SC, the tranny will definitely be able to handle the additional HP/Torque. Actually the tranny should hold up the SC and then some (nitrous perhaps!)

Good luck
