He said that he will oil up the brake lines underneath since he is worried about rust and corrosion causing other elements like this to fail in the coming year. He said he can't practically sand down the frame underneath where there is rust already.

does all this sound crazy? He said to bring the car in later for the 110k check up to the dealer, but he doesn't think it needs a timing belt or water pump.
is this an actual toyota dealership your taking it too. they are full of it. you can not put fiberglass on your diff. theres no way. and the lil exhuast leak yeah no fumes will get in your cabin. just makes a lil noise. sanding the undercarage. bunch of bull that would take so much time. at the dealership i used to work at the undercarrage coating kills the rust 25.00 dollars a bottle takes maybe 2 bottles for the saq. and timming belt does need to be done. i dont want to see another member get shafted like this.

No - I am ashamed to say that we aren't in the habit of washing the cars in the winter here in VT. At a certain point in November, the garden hoses freeze up and we bring them in to the barn. Our little town has one drive through car wash that is actually too small for our Sequoia when I have the roof rack on it. Since it isn't convenient to wash it - it is really easy to forget about that. But I do understand that it has meant a lot of problems underneath.

First off timing belt's need to be replaced Now and when i say that Toyota does mention 90k and based on the age now you need to get this work done. The timing belt's should be around $39 in cost and the Oem water pump is $93 you need to get both done I have once on my 00 Tundra anythingtoyota ask for bill.
I have to agree here. The timing is a MUST. The results are to big to take. Get the belt done. Water pump is really up to you. I just did my timing belt but did not do the water pump.

Get the timing belt done,
