Default Low hum in front end of 07 Sequoia

Hi, We have a 2007 Seq. Bought in Nov. 06, 2000 miles on it now. At low speed, making turns, there is a quiet, low toned, "hummmmm" from the front end, most noticable on tight turns.

Also , at low speeds, if you let off the gas it seems to de-cellerate very quickly, and the hum is there, but just much fainter.

I have driven other Seqs that did not have this.

Could it just be the tires? Or could the 4wd be stuck on?

Warrantee. Ah, yes. Heard of it. That has crossed my mind. Thing is, the nearest Toyota dealer "Service" dept has not been helpful at all. I plan on it, and I want to be armed with the most info possible, hence my question.

My experience tells me they will say "they all do that", so I have test driven others, without the issue to combat that. I will have to get on their case.

I'm sure many people find the answer to every question, "take it to the dealer" helpful, but I feel it defeats the whole purpose of the site.

I understand you are trying to figure out what is wrong but if it is under warranty and it's that new I'd take it in. I know what the purpose of this site is.

My guess is that you have a bad wheel bearing, does it do it turning both ways?
