Seriously stay away from the new GM 900 series. I work at a GM dealer and the trucks have a lot of issues, mainly minor electrical stuff but it is no fun having a new vehicle that is always in the shop. A new Tahoe loaded has around 25 computers/modules on it. A lot of stuff to go wrong, and they have been. Stupid tire sensors and rear auto lift gates!!!! Man I get those every week, PAIN TO FIX!!! remember that tahoe wasn't suppose to arrive till 2008.......the customer is the guinea pig on these.....I have a 02 sequoia I just bought (3k miles) and so far I love it!!! Almost 17mpg!!!!!

My wifes 04 Sequoia gets 17+ when she drives it. I'd have to pry the keys out of her hand to get rid of it, but I would never think of doing that. I have friends that work for GM/Ford/Dodg.
I wouldn't get rid of the SEQUOIA for the world. One of the best vehicle I have ever owned.

I had same decision 4 years ago. I liked the Tahoe (drove a couple times at my firehouse responding to calls). Nice power, ride was good. Second row was tight to get into and lacked leg room and don't even get me started on the 3rd row.....my knees were at my chin while I was hunched over so my head didn't hit after having to literally crawl to get to it. There was about 3" of clearance between top of the third row and the tailgate also. Sequoia was a little more $$ but after driving both I liked the Sequoia MUCH better as did my wife. Except for the crappy gas mileage (which they all get) and that I hate car payments, love it as does the wife. No regrets and hopefully it will last as long as my Corolla did until it got totalled.
