Default headlight change

A friend wants me to change her headlight housings on an 02 Sequoia. The vehicle is not at my location so I wanted to know what is involved in changing them before I place my internet order. Does anyone have documentation or at least a description.
I guess she took me literally when I said I wanted to fiddle with her headlights! Seriously, the housings are hazed over and don't pass enough light. They are beyond saving with polish.

Well I found out how to change the headlight housings. Each headlight housing has 4 bolts to remove. 3 are easy to reach and the 4th cannot be seen until you take the parking light out. The top bolt has different threads than the others. To take out the parking light, you remove a plastic screw and it's retainer on the outer top area of the headlight. The screw is on a plastic tab that is attached to the actual parking light. If you twist that tab about 3/16 of an inch toward the front outside corner of the vehicle and push straight forward on the parking light, the light fixture will pop out. If you dont twist the tab, you can push and slap the light in a forward direction and it will eventually pop out anyway. You can then take out the last bolt holding the headlight housing in and complete the job. Be careful putting the parking light back in not to bend the plastic tab. It breaks easily and the housing retails for $74.99 as I unfortunatley discovered. I hope this helps someone in the future.

I randomly found this post and it was a great help. I bought a set of clear corner lights for my o4 tundra and spent 5 hours under the hood and truck trying to figure out how to pull the old ones. it was 1030 pm when I read this and I went straight outside and got it done. At least I know how to get to that bolt if I ever need the headlights changed. Thanks,

Yeah, this is not too fun. I think the hardest part is the removing the park light without breaking anything. Did you purchase aftermarket headlights or did you buy OEM? Big difference in price...but I'm wondering about fit quality??

Has anyone polished theirs and had success? My '04 is right on the verge of needing some TLC in that department.....

Thanks!
