Default VSC tolerances for diff. tire sizes

I am thinking of going a size or two taller over the stock 265/70/16. I do not want to buy a new spare. I was thinking there had to be some variance for wheel rotation during turns (especially in 2WD) to compensate for the different distances traveled in a turn. Does anyone or has anyone used a spare with 3 other different size tires and did it cause problems. A toyota tech I spoke with said there should not be a problem, especially if it was only one size change (around an inch taller). I do nto want to cause problems with my VSC computer. Any response is greatly appreciated!

i think if you go bigger on all four corners you shouldn't have a problem. However i have 295/45/20 ont he front and 305/50/20 on the rear and every once in a while when i first start drving the car after it's been off the VSC will kick in for about 5 seconds as i am trying to accelerate. Usuallly happens once and then not again. Don't knwo abotu the spare issue though. Don't know is this helps at all...

SB, thanks. I would go the same on all four, but not the spare. Considering I have been fortunate enough to have no flats on my Revo's, which will be the replacement, it may not be much of an issue. Would love to know if anyone had problems though, as i would hate to cause expensive damage.
