Default Limited Slip Diff On Sequoia

Hello everyone. I want to add The eaton trd limited slip diff to my wife's Sequoia. I tried to search and see if anyone has used one on the Sequoia and find nothing. I see people have added them to the Tundra's. Any thought or comments?

Is your wife's Sequoia a 2wd model? I think this would be redundant if you have the Sequoia in 4wd anyways, as the ATRACS system automatically sends power to the tires that have traction, which I think, in essence, makes both the front and rear axles LSDs.

As for having the ability to have an LSD in 2wd like the eaton you mentioned, I am not sure. I'm sure someone else here can answer on that soon though.

Do a search and you'll find a couple. One member (u2slo) put in a powertrax and said it made a big difference when he was on the beach etc. I wanted to put the eaton in also but couldn't get a clear answer from them regarding how it effects/causes issues with the ESC if it does. The TRACS system works well as long there is traction and ESC does not cut your throttle. I was in some muddy parking lots and icy hills and would much rather have had some sort of LSD. The TRACS works by applying the brakes to the spinning wheel to transfer torque to the other wheel. Get in the mud or ice and all wheels sin and after about 45 seconds the system stops so as not to burn out the ABS motor and overheat the brakes so you can still stop. 99.8% of the time it's fine but I've experienced the .2% and wasn't thrilled. Even in 4WD I had a hard time starting on an snowy/icy hill that my Dad's 2WD Chevy van was able to start on. Granted it slipped back and forth but churned it's way faster than I did. The throttle just kept getting cut off since the wheel was partially turned and rear wheels were spinning.

Well I Thought About The Trd Eaton In My 01. Found Someone Put It In And Had Trouble With The Abs And Traction Contrl. He Said To Only Way To Do It Right Is Eliminate The Abs Sensor Becuase The Dealership Could Not Deprogram The Traction Contrl. Stick With Oem Ftw.
