Default 02 sequoia tach & oil pressure gauge failure

I have an 02 Sequoia - 80k miles

Today my tachometer and oil pressure gauge quit. This only happens when the truck is in Drive. Works in Park and all other gears.

Has anybody ever had this problem?

Any Ideas?

Thanks for your help.

I had the same problem with my oil pressure gauge on my '03. The dealer replaced the oil pressure sending unit twice under warranty. I was told the sending unit was a cheap one made in mexico, as was the replacement, the third unit has worked fine. They say it was a better unit from Japan. No problem with my Tach though.

The dealership replaces the oil pressure gauge for free? Because mine has been wacky for about a year or two. I never really knew what it meant until recently when my friend pointed it out.

I have an '03 with 35k miles.
