03 sequoia jensen vm9512

Bought it and had it installed a CC been therer 3 days for the install, telling me my two pre amp/ OEM, will not work w/unit they used the blue wire out of the back of the vm9512 to power the pre amp. pink and blue wire into to the amp. it's giving off a humming sond, how do u wire to power up the OEM amp's
