Default chains on 4wd?

I'm new to 4wd and I cannot find info here regarding putting chains on the front tires or rear. Or if you can even do that with the Sequoia. I would assume only in open differential mode too. I value the opinions here. Thanks

Default Re: chains on 4wd?

Read in your manual what it states for use of tire chains. Usually they are put on the primary drive wheels (rear-in your case), unless you chain up all four for some serious/dangerous driving conditions.
Some good tires and chains on the rear in 4wd should get you everywhere you need to go.
