I have a Tundra and Sequoia - both 4WD. The Tundra has more ground clearance, and plowed through and over 32" of snow here in Baltimore to open my street up. The skid plate actually packed down the snow. I was pretty impressed with the Tundra's ability to move through this much snow with the Michelin LTX tires. The Sequoia, on the other hand, with less ground clearance, had problems even after the Tundra cleared the path. The best 4WD scenerio for the Sequoia seemed to be 4WD - HI with the VSC turned OFF. In light snow, the VCS works great. But in the heavy stuff, it stops the wheels from spinning at all, and some wheel spin is need to "dig" through the deep snow. I actually used the Sequoia in 4WD - LO with the lever - worked just like the Tundra's 4WD - LO, but with less clearance.
