    Default Fender Damage

I took my 2006 Sequioa in to the dealer for a "free" oil change, state safety inspection and emissions. As always, when I got the car back, I inspected it before leaving. I noticed that they had put a four inch scratch on the rear drivers side fender that goes down the the fiberglass. There are a few minor scratches around it and the wheels are a little scuffed up. When I pointed this out to them, they agreed to fix the fender, but said that they would have someone remove the fender, fix it and repaint it. Should I insist that they just replace the fender. Based on my experience, I don't really trust the quality of their work. Thanks.

Good for you to check out their quality craftsmanship. I don't trust my local dealer any farther than I can throw them. For what its worth a new fender will probably have to be painted to match. So outside of the satisfaction of having a new fender you won't gain much there IMO. Other than that tatoo those fools.

My dealer had to repaint my new Sequoia at the time of purchase three times. After the second failed attempt, I asked the body shop Manager where he wanted me to have the bill sent to, to have it doneright. They were like what are you talking about. Bunch of jokers. Hammer them I say!
