Default JBL 6 Disc Stereo Question.

I have an '05 Sequoia with the 6-Disc JBL stereo and had an interesting issue yesterday. I did a search here but did not find any matches to what happened.

Yesterday, my wife e-mailed me that the radio had quit working. When I got home and checked it out, I could get the screen to light-up but none of the buttons would work and no sound.

There was 1 CD in the changer and a tape in the tape deck. When I took the key out of the ignition I could still hear a "humming" sound coming from the radio as if the tape deck was still running even though the key was out fo the ignition.

I decided to try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes and when I re-connected it, the radio appears now to work fine.

To make a long story short, does anyone have similar history with the JBL 6-disc and do you think this is an isolated incident or might it indicate that the stereo is soon to crap-out for good.
