Default another 2001 tranny problem

i went to my parents house for easter they live in California and i live in Nevada. when i got there i hooked up one of his trailers to see if the aux power i put in my 7 pin gave the trailer power to turn on the 12v lights inside. after that i just walked away and left everything on. went back about 5 hours later and the battery was dead. allwell my fault. after getting it jump started i went to put it in drive and it would not rev past 2000 and would barley move. turned it off and back on and it still was doing the same thing. took about 1/4 mile before it kicked in and went. the only thing i can think of is that when you have low voltage in a system it can go were the past of least resistance and gave power to the tcl torque converter lockup. anybody else experience this.
