I have 285 60's on my 2003 Sequoia and they fit fine on my 17 inch rims. I wont' put them on again though. You really need a wider rim to handle the
tires this size. I'm going back to stock, or new rims when these wear out.

Here is a list I saved from the back in the day when some of had the exact same questions...
I dont know if some of the guys who are listed are still around or if they even still have their Seq.
But the info is good to have...
And here's the details of the package from Toyota: ShopAtToyota.com
This is a package that is done at the port, not when the vehicle is manufactured.
For what ever reason, this is first time I hear about XSP package.
And I don't believe your car was done at the port, I think it was done at the toyota dealership = because you have SR5 on a sides not X-SP. And they added X-SP on your doors.

I'm certain it was (and is)done at the port. I ordered the car directly through JM Family (the Toyota distributer for the Southeast), the dealer got nothing out of the deal and did nothing other than hand me the keys and facilitate the paperwork.
Before I lifted my seq I had 265/75R16 Blizzaks for winter on stock rims and 265/70R17 Pirelli's (ATR? I think) on present Eagle Alloys with no rubbing at all. Now I have a 2.5 inch lift and 285/70R17 - they'd rub my front fenders hard if I didn't mod the fender a little.
i was just online pricing the revtek lift and noticed they say:
"Maximum recommended wheel size, 15x8" or 16x8", medium off-set "
Do the stock 17's meet these criteria and are they wide enough to handle LT285/70/17's (32.7" x 11.2"). According to sanchez's chart above they are roughly the same size as "285/75/16= 32.8/11.2 RMonsom: No rub, lifted 2.5" so i assume the tire size should be fine if the offset is good.
IIRC with any 2-2.5 inch lift 285/70R17's (or 265/75R16) on stock rims will rub hard on the front of the upper control arm. I had a hard time visualizing this *before* I lifted my truck. My eagle alloys are almost the same dimensionally as stock 17's and they rubbed after the lift. I ended up buying some Spidertrax 1.25 inch hubcentric spacers. They've been on the truck awhile and work very well for the UCA rub issue although after installing them the tires rubbed on the the front wheel's rear fender flare and mudflap. I then removed the mudflap and did some body mods to make them fit. I think the best results (if you want to keep stock rims) is use Total Chaos or Camburg upper control arms. The other option is a new wheel that has just the right amount less backspacing than stock (.5-.75 ??). For me I'll be buying new UCA's in the future as I want more downtravel and caster anyway and am going to put a small spacer on top of my 5100's to get a little more lift in the front, maybe 0.5-0.75 inches to level up to the rear a bit.
