Toyo's Open Country vs Kumho's Venture

Hi All,

I'm trying to decide between Toyo's Open country and Kumho's Venture, both A/T. I've read reviews on Consumer Report and, besides the expected Rolling Resistance, they both seem to be pretty good tire all around. Checked quite a few sites for prices and in general Toyo's are $ 60 above; is it worth it.

I'm looking to buy standard tires 265/70/R16 and I though I don't do a whole lot of off-road, I prefer the A/T's above the H/T's mainly because the A/T's have better ratings on Snow traction and Ice Braking.

r those the only option your going for? i ran with toyo a lot but rite now im running on mich.. but if its cheap and afordable i go wit toyo instead of kumho

Hi, just curious: why did you switch from Toyo to Michelin?, CR's review of Michelin's LTX is not as good as that of Toyo's Open Country or Kumho's Venture...I've considered Nitto's Terra Grappler.
