Default Clicking behind climate control at 25-30 mph

Hi all.

I am a newby. Just bought an 03 Seq with 68k miles. SR5 4x4. I have noticed that everytime I start up a clicking (sounds like a relay) behind the climate control when the vehicle first reaches 25-30mph. After once it does not repeat until the vehicle is turned off and back on again.

Any ideas????

Thanks for your help!

Mark

I thought I was going crazy!

I have the same click at right around the same speeds. It only happens when the car is cold.

Has anyone else encountered this? It's not necessarily something that needs fixing; I just need to know what it is!

Traction control self-check or something like that; nothing to worry about. There is at least 1 thread on this site about it.

Exactly. Normal ABS / VSC self check. The two systems are integrated.

Just bought an '06 LTD and was thinking the same thing. Glad I reach page 13 of this forum and found the answer to that and a few other issues...
