Default Cleaning suggestions for a dirty headliner

Bought a used 2006 Sequoia- there are a few small dirty areas on the headliner. I want to clean it when spring comes and it is warmer! I know not use any harsh chemicals or over-wet the area because the bonding glue will weaken and may pull away causing a sag. Does anyone have any good cleaning suggestions or products to use?
Thanks for your input!

A dry eraser works great on interior. never tried it on cloth just plastic and vinyl so try it out in little area before doing the whole thing.

I drive with my windows (including back window) down all the time. The headliner seems to be a magnet for dirt. Last week when i was washing my truck I took the shammy and wiped the headliner. It looked great. Just wash out the shammy after every few passes so that you dont put the dirt back on the headliner and make sure to wring out the shammy so its not tooo wet.
