Default Automatic Door Locks

Newby to forum. I have learned so much from this forum it is a great. I just bought a 04 Sequioa limited with-out an owners manual. The thing that is irritating is the automatic door locks. I hear page 14 of the owners manual descibes how to disengage them. Could someone please send a link on how to disengage them. My manual is 2 plus weeks away from Toyota and I am woried I will be locked out. Thanks in advance.

I have the manual & cannot get mine to work correctly. Left the lights on and ran the battery down. Now the locks engage about 5 seconds after I put the key in. I've gone through Mode 1 programming at least 20 times and Mode 2 about 5 times. Anyone know how to get it back to a point that the doors don't lock when the key in turned to on?

The secret to making the auto door locks work is when you press the front or back edge of the drivers side door lock button, you only press for exactly 5 seconds; no more no less. Most people assume when the manual says 5 seconds it means 5 seconds minumum with no maximum but this is not the case.
