Default 02 sensor code

I am new to this site and have a question in regards to a scanner code. P0135 (o2 sensor heater ciruit malfuntion) bank 1 sensor 1. I have 90,000 miles on my 02 sequioa so my guess is it is time to replace the sensor, they typically don't last more than 100,000 miles. My guess would be sensor 1 is pre-cat, but which side is bank 1, drivers or passengers. Could someone please help?? I hve been viewing this site as a guest for a while and know there are some very techy folks on here.

I'm still rolling on the original O2's and I just went over 108K miles. They can go out anytime, so it sounds like yours did. Your code refers to the pre-cat sensor on the drivers side. It's easy to change once you get under the engine.

yes, all 4 sensors are surprisenly easier to get to than I anticipated. I just was unsure which side was bank 1, Thanks for confirming what I thought that it was the drivers side.
