Default Problem with Rear View Mirror control?

I think I might have my first Sequoia "problem" -- 9 months new with around 10K miles.

Right hand rear view mirror (external), does not respond to the "left right" controls. It'll still move up/down, but won't move left/right -- it'll move left, but moving it right it just shudders and doesn't move.

Anyone have any experience with this? My guess is a linkage has broken behind the mirror or stuck. I'm a little reluctant to pull the mirror out without knowing more about how the system works.

Default mirror

One suggestion.... I've never had this happen on my Sequoia, but it did happen on my old Volvo.

Try folding the mirrors in against the body of the truck and then redeploying them.

On my old Volvo at least, if a mirror was at all bent in or out, the mirror left-right would not adjust.

I've seen this happen before, don't know why, but I've seen it. Try manually moving the mirror and then try the power again.
