Hi guys, my homelink module died this week. It's really important as our property is gated and we only have one remote that is now shared between two trucks. I took the whole overhead console apart looking for cold solder joints, but nothing jumped out. There seems to be discoloration on the top left section of the display. So I guess I need to replace the entire module.
I'm looking for part number 83290-0C011. Will this part interchange with other vehicles (besides the Tundra)? It looks like I can find a ton of Sienna overhead consoles on ebay but there is only one Sequoia console. Of course the Sienna doesn't have the same button layout but if I can just take the opener module that would be great. Plus I could always resell the rest of it.
The list price is $457.73 for the opener, and 1sttoyotaparts has it for $330.23. I'm willing to pay around $80 or so. Is there anybody that might have it cheaper?
(If anyone has one for sale...pm please).

None of the local yards have any newer Toyotas, in fact 99 is the newest of anything I believe.

Try Used Auto Parts they will search for the part for you and send you people or yards to contact selling the unit you need. I've used them in the past.

I have the entire console (in gray) minus the home link buttons. If you want, I would sell you mine (minus the 5 buttons) and you could swap yours out and install them in this unit. PM me but your price seemed fair. I also can provide pics...

The 5 black home link buttons on the overhead console. They're actually only one part that snaps into several little grooves. I had to buy an entire console with the compass, the homelink (garage door opener), the sun glasses holder, etc... just because one of my buttons broke. I popped out the part and have everything else that I could sell. If we're talking about the same thing then you could just remove your 5 black home link 'buttons' and install them into the $1000+ system I have.
If you do a search for posts by Neffster, you'll see photos of what I'm talking about.
