Default high oil pressure problem

my wife was driving the sequoia this morning and told me that when the sequoia was in idle the oil pressure guage needle was in the middle and any acceleration made the needle too get to the "H" (high) line of the oil pressure guage my "MAINT" light has been flashing longer upon start up so im guessing it has 4700 miles on that oil and the dealer was the last to change the oil but no problems till now? should i worry or change my oil asap?

Default Re: high oil pressure problem

did you just make a switch to fully synthetic oil?? when i first switched my old 02' tundra (V6) to full synthetic, it made the oil psi gauge almost max out like yours did, eventually it fixed itself somehow and went back to its normal state after a few start ups. i still dont know why it did this, but everything was fine for many oil changes after that.
