Safest SUV on the planet??

Newbie post here - but I wanted to share what everybody here already knows: why we drive Sequoias. Thank God for Toyota engineering and my 2005 4WD Sequoia Ltd. MY SEQUOIA SAVED MY LIFE.

Clueless driver in a Jeep Grand Cherokee ran a red light and t-boned me at 30 mph at a busy city intersection. I think I was going 25 mph. Tried to avoid it by cranking hard right, but she connected square with driver's side rear axle and sent me spinning, which quickly turned into a full-out rollover and slide, ending up on the driver's side about 100 feet from the point of impact.

My 13-year old daughter and I walked away - her only scratch from the windshield as we climbed out. I've got a nice shiner from hitting the roof. The only thing that saved my face and arms as we slid along the pavement was the side curtain airbag.

The worst part: this was my wife's car! She loves her Sequoia even more now - we won't buy any other SUV. THANKS TOYOTA!! Now I have to find another one as nice as this truck was.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
I hope each of you has side curtain airbags - THEY WORK.
Now, I need to find another 4x4 Limited (Gen1) with all the options....

Glad to see everybody's OK.

However, good luck on finding another Sequoia that was in good as shape as yours. Around here (in SW VA) they are pretty scarce. I know if someting happened to ours, we would be in for a long search.

ebay might, maybe, possibly be your friend....
