Default non Toyota question

excuse me for my question being non toyota/seuoia. but i dont know how to deal with the problem i have. may be somebody had gone thru this. anyways
on march 28 i called directv for either getting an upgrade or cancel the service.(dish offering much better deals in my area).at the end of conversation cust serv guy offered me
1----free hd-dvr(just pay shipping)
2----10$ off a month for a year
3----free HD for a year
4----6 month free hbo+cinemax
5----3 month free shows+starz
so i agreed to make another 2 year contract.(at that time i had 12 month left from previous 2 year one).they installed it on last saturday.
i called directv today to see why i'm not getting premium chanels and also full prise hd-dvr upgrade still on my balance. Rep says there is no note abt that offer, that i have no discount at all with a new contract on my hand.after half an hour and two attempts to talk to supervisor he offered me 75$ credit and 3 month starz.
so i told him in nicely way to send somebody and take all equipment, that its been only 3 days...etc
but apparently after 24 hours of activation you bond with them.i know first guys employee id, i have order id.
is there anyway i can make them check that recorded conversation.if not where can i complain ? and given the situation what are my chances.
i applogize once more for questions but i dont even know where to start

Default Re: non Toyota question

From what you stated, it seems that the guy you spoke with (probably didn't get his name, I never do either and end up regreting it) out of all the BS he told you, the only thing he did was extend your contract. If he did extend your contract then that is the record of who you spoke with and can ask to follow up with his supervisor.

The package you have been locked into for the next 2 years sounds quite pricey and I believe with Directv it is only a $175 cancellation fee for terminating your contracting, that might seem like a lot of money however if you add up how much you'll spend over the next 24 months for service you can get cheaper from dish network, than that route be in your best interest.

I would follow back up with directv first though before sheeling out any uneeded cash, and maybe if they are unwilling to obligate the contract you received over the phone, than extort them with what I described above, and see if that changes their minds. Sometimes you just have to be a you know what to folks, especially if they are trying to take advantage of you.
