Default Power Window Dead

Is changing the power window motor hard? Can you do it yourself easily? Can anyone provide some directions?

Default Re: Power Window Dead

What makes you think you need a new motor? Is it the side window (front/rear) or the back glass?

The back glass is notorious for sticking due to non-use. Take the inside trim off and hit the motor with the handle of a screwdriver.

Right after I did this to mine, the rear passenger window stopped working. (but I could hear a click) Slam the door hard afew times - worked for me.
