Fluid Changes
i have an 04 ltd 4x4 and wanted to know if anyone has any how-to's on changing front and rear diff fluid and transfer case fluids. got about 44k on it and would like to put some new stuff in there. also, what is everybody running in theirs? thanks.

Owner's manual states rear Diff has synthetic in it .
I had local shop change front diff & transfer case to synthetic.

I replaced the front,rear and center diff fluids with Amsoil synthetics. The capacities listed on the Amsoil site for my '05 were spot on.

Just changed mine out yesterday. 2007 Sequoia Limited 4x4. Front, Rear and Transfer Case oil. Used Red Line 75W-90 Front and Transfer Case. 75w-140 Rear Differential.
I was amazed at how much metal was in the front and rear we tow a 23 foot travel trailer and changing the fluid has given us peace of mind.
