Default 03 Em Brake & 2 yellow lights on/off

I've read the other two threads regarding this common problem.

My emergency brake light comes on at times... more frequently lately.
Also, the two yellow traction whatever lights also come on at times.

Neither seem to alter the way the truck drives. I have about 60K miles and no extended warranty. 2

Questions:
1. How do I file a complaint with Toyota?

2. Can I just ignore them?

My back window doesn't go up or down and my gas gauge doesn't work at times... is this just another quirky thing that I can live with?

Thanks for any help!

I had same problem but fixed.

There is two sensor on the brake booster (Dealer won't sell sensor seperately) and speed sensors (2)

Total cost for change 2 speed sensor and booster with sensor and labor cost me $950(Labor was free - he is my brother in law).

The problem is that the sensors are too sensitive if there is missensing a little it will automatically send error to ecm cause light comes on.
You can't ignore that problem. you should check the ecm error code from a mechanic you could trust (Most of mechanics even dealer will charge you more than 4k for it cause they do not want to tell you the real problem).
When it light comes on, you could feel little harder on the booster(If you are a sensitive person will feel the difference between ligh was on and off).
Since, I changed the booster feel much softer and softer start on accerlation.
I hope this will help.

Thank you so much for your reply. I tried to understand what you were saying, but the part above lost me. Would you mind explaining what the booster is??? How can I feel the difference? I'll pay attention today.

I was going to check the brake fluid level today... and if low, add some. If that doesn't work, I guess I need to take it in... but I have no mechanic that I trust.

Brake booster(loook a like thick pancake and black color) is located behind the master cylinder which you can add brake fluid(between master cylinder and brake pedal).
When you apply brake pedal the little shaft push the brake booster's diapharm force more power(use engine vacuum) to push master cylinder then master cylinder distribute brake fluid to each wheel's caliper that is how brake work.
I experienced, when I apply brake, sometimes it stop with very little pressure on the pedal and sometimes are not(either brake lights on or not).
It is very little difference(but you could feel if you are sensitive).

But again, you should check the error code (most local mechanic have OBD reader so can tell you what is the codes) before attempt to fix it.

Okay...thank you so much.

I just added brake fluid... it wasn't below minimum, but it was far from max. We'll see how it goes when I drive it shortly. I'll pay special attention to the amount of pressure needed while breaking when the lights are on and off.

Thanks again!

Just an update... after adding brake fluid... the lights haven't come on once in two days.... hopefully they'll stay off!
